| Bad week for Trojans. First the Bush family (note to self: for better or worse, beware of Bushes). Then Lendale. Then the whole Jarrett living situation and Sanchez's sexual assault allegation. And of course, Bush dropping to 2nd, Leinart taking a plunge to 10th...
I'm hoping that it's all sheer speculation, and I'm sure at least one of the situations is blown way out of proportion (Bush). That's the thing about LA: it's a double-edged sword. When something good comes along, it's portrayed in the brightest light; but when something bad (or seemingly bad) happens, it's portrayed under the darkest cloud. Nonetheless, it'd be nice to (finally) get a peaceful offseason.
As for Leinart taking the plunge, I hope it's a blessing in disguise. It would have totally rocked to have Norm Chow reunite with Leinart. Oh well. At least Leinart has a good chance of being the starting QB within two years, and he's got a decent supporting cast. Maybe the Cardinals will be like the Cowboys of the 1990's.
Dude, then again, I kind of wished that Arizona passed on him so he could go to my beloved Broncos. Hehe I know, I'm greedy!

One of my close friends' mother recently passed away. She's like a sister to me, and I've known her mother for years. It's been sad -- I still don't know how to cope with her mother's death.

Two weeks and counting, and my cell phone hasn't blown up yet. He's stupider than I thought.
| They'd all be my husbands.

So excited to see them in person on June 25. Maybe I'll add to Carlos' knicker collection =)
| Lesson #1234098734: NEVER approach a girl, and think that you have a chance when the first line that comes out of your mouth is "Excuse me, I'm interested in Asians and was wondering if you have a man."
Ruined my lunch.

| Yup. I've had it.
I've been working two jobs simultaneously for some time now, which means that: 1) I greatly value the "free time" I have to spend with family and friends; and 2) I often have to plan out my weekends. That being said, whenever I set aside time for someone/something, I have very high expectations that it'll happen. More often than not, it falls through. Sometimes it's because of an emergency, which is understandable, but oftentimes it's because of they're being forgetful and/or an asshole and/or self-centered and/or inconsiderate. I hate flakes, yet I have an amazingly high tolerance for them. But sooner or later, I do know when the line's been crossed.
That being said, I've just decided to end a nearly-six years-long friendship over this persisting problem. It sucks, but I believe I deserve better. No one should leave their friends hanging. | Currently Listening Prime By Original Soundtrack I Wish You Love (Rachael Yamagata) see related |

| ::: Changes/Resolutions :::
1) Actually get season tickets this year for USC football home games.
2) Travel more, and to at least one place I've never been to before. Current site in contention: New York (to meet my German cousins halfway).
3) Go check out one new restaurant each month. Still haven't gone to Turners New Zealand .
4) Attend a concert.
5) Go to one away game this year. Either USC v. Wazzu in Pullman, WA (09/30/06) or USC v. Oregon State in Corvallis, OR (10/28/06).
6) Pay off all of my outstanding credit cards. After this occurs...
7) Revamp my room. Get rid of all the oak furniture (I HATE oak -- blame my parents who just love it) and get something more on the modern side from West Elm. Since my room is dinky and I'm going to get a bigger bed, that means that a flat panel is needed.
8) Work out more. Gain 10 lbs. Once that happens, I'll throw a party in Vegas.
::: Picture of the Moment :::
